The free recorder installs in one line with no account. The persona setup is a separate purchase and takes five steps.

One command. No account.

No card, no token, no wizard and nothing to paste back. It installs the Claude Code hook, and from your next session every tool call is recorded to .clawmont/audit.jsonl in the project you are working in.

Then check it yourself, rather than trusting the installer's own success message: 

node ~/.clawmont/cc/scripts/doctor.mjs

That spawns the real hook, feeds it a credential-theft attempt and an ordinary command, and prints both verdicts. It changes nothing.

What it will not do

  • It records; it does not read the record for you. No digest, no cross-project summary.
  • It keeps the trail on the machine that made it. Nothing is stored off-machine, and nothing is delivered to you.

It runs in monitor mode: it records and blocks nothing until you turn blocking on. Remove it at any time with curl -fsSL https://api.clawmont.com/uninstall.sh | bash.

    Buy a persona

    Pick one persona ($30) or Apex ($40). Checkout runs through our payment processor - we never see your card.

  2. 02

    Open the setup link

    A single-use link arrives by email and opens the onboarding wizard at api.clawmont.com.

  3. 03

    Install the plugin

    The wizard gives you a single install command with your config baked in. Paste it, and the wizard auto-detects the install and advances.

    Enter your API keys

    The terminal prompts for your provider key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or OpenRouter). Keys are validated locally and stored securely on your machine - they are never sent to Clawmont.

    Done - plugin goes active

    Run openclaw clawmont status to confirm. Your persona is live and configured from your very first prompt.
